Riding a school bus is a PRIVILEGE to qualified students of the Atascadero Unified School District.  Therefore, it is important that all students are aware of the bus riding rules so they may keep their bus riding privileges.  Students will be expected to know and follow these rules: 

Students should arrive at the designated bus stop at least five (5) minutes before scheduled time, but never more than ten (10) minutes early. 

At the bus stop and on the school bus, students must observe the same high standards of citizenship that are expected at school. 

No pets, animals, creatures of any kind, glass containers, skateboards, scooters, weapons, laser pointers, or unsafe objects will be allowed at the bus stop or on the school bus.
