Atascadero Unified School District takes safety very seriously. In order to protect our students, any person coming on to the campus must be subject to a sexual offender check by law enforcement (Megan's Law). This includes anyone coming on to the campus to have lunch with their child, drop off items to the classroom; parties, etc. (Please be mindful of our wellness policy on classroom treats!). The only exception to a Megan's Law check would be an awards assembly or kindergarten promotion. When school gates are locked, you must have clearance to be on campus, so please plan ahead by completing the MEGAN'S LAW INFORMATION FORM now if you plan on entering the school anytime during the school year. Forms are available in the school office and online. This will need to be done on a yearly basis.

If you wish to accompany students on field trips, we do require fingerprinting be completed. If you have done fingerprinting with us already, then you are fine. If you are new to our system, and would like to be fingerprinted which allows you to attend/help on field trips, please call the District Office at 805-462-4200, extension 104403.
