Create a document in Docs

Create and edit a document, apply appropriate formatting to enhance readability and attractiveness, and create and incorporate original graphics to enhance communication. Margins, alignment, line spacing, page breaks, insert elements, draw tools, spell check, thesaurus can all be used to create a great document.

Create a presentation in slides with texts, images, and links.

Screencastify

Record audio with webcam video of student using the Screencastify Chrome extension.


 

Tech Basics

Computer Skills:  Cut, copy, and paste text and graphics within a document.

Typing Skills:   5th grade students can continue to practice their keyboarding skills using a formal program. The other apps they use in class will supplement this learning.

 

Typing Agent

Students use their District account to login with ClassLink.

 

Troubleshooting Skills:  Check for loose cables, check power, and restart computer and/or printer.
